Happy Halloween from “Sandy”

This is one of my girls who has gotten bitten. Originally she was going to be titled “Bittten” But I think “Sandy” if fitting. Living on the east coast I am fortunate enough that Sandy (the storm… not the Zombie) didn’t hit me too hard. To all my neighbors who got in her path my thoughts and well wishes go out to you and your families.

This illustration was just something quick and silly, but drawing zombies sure are fun.. I think I have been hanging out with Steve Becker and the FUBAR boys too much.

If you’re interested in a print of  “Sandy” please contact me (this includes tattoo designs) she will not be available in my store. If I get enough requests I will do a special limited release of her.

Have a very wild and wicked Halloween everyone!

Begonia. The wild Child

Let me introduce to you Bengonia

Begonia is a wild child of the night! Like the others she is a part of my collection that is sprinkled with symbolism through images and floriography.

I think she is my favorite thus far.

She will be available for purchase soon on my ETSY store. Limited printing. Thinking you want her permanently on your body as a sweet tatt? Convo me.

And here is a sneak preview of a Halloween creation about to be finished!

Like me for updates with my art projects.

Also there is still time to win free prints by sharing my page on FB. What are you waiting for?

“Sucker”

Let me introduce to you “Sucker”

“Sucker” is a part of my Girl collection. Like her sisters she is heavily influenced by floriography and symbolism  She was a blast to draw.

Sucker will soon be available on Etsy to purchase. She will have limited prints.

I hope everyone is having a fantastic October. Feel free to contact me.

Happy Birthday Edgar Allen Poe

Ode to Edgar

Here is my spin on his child wife.

 Virginia Eliza Clemm.

She is just a quick’ish drawing I did to switch things up. I played off the death bed portrait of Virginia  and then let my mind go wild.

Enjoy your night folks.

Happy Halloween…

The Keepers

Yep. You heard me.

I finally finished my Halloween piece for you fine folks. Merry Christmas.

The Boyfriend got me a lot of new art fancies, mostly pencils, because I enjoy that medium most at the moment.

This piece is a part of the twins/ hair obsession collection.  thoughts?

I hope you enjoy.

Also I hope you enjoy your New Year.

Always,

April

p.s. if you get this tattooed on your body let me see it when you and your artist are done.

Hairy Business

So recently I have been working on hair. Braids, swirls, twirls and dos. Being a cosmetologist I appreciate hair as an art form…and its much easier when then don’t talk back.

As you all know I love to draw lovely ladies but I have really got inspired after attending New York Comic con with my Killustrator  and the  FUBAR boys and being across from Adrian Alphona. I absolutely love his sketches.

So this is a working progress and the main focus of then was to concur a braid but I thought I would share and get your opinion!
The  twins, who are obviously not done, were going to be a Halloween sketch for you folk originally but I suck and didnt finish them.  I was going to make them sugar skull twins but now I am not sure. What are your thoughts?

Detail them up with sugar skull designs or create fresh face? I know what I am thinking…. But I would like to hear what you think!

On a side note:

I have put a Donate button to keep the artwork alive! If you are feeling generous and want to donate to keep local art alive leave me your address and I will send you a little gift =)

I hope you all had a wonderful Halloween!!

Always,

April!
